1. Polar & Keli on a training run (look who is doing all the work!)  2. Holding out the line for hook up before the run. 

Polar was the first leader I trained myself without the help of an experienced dog.  Keli was purchased later as a supposed experienced "lead dog" to help sharpen Polar's skills, but it turned out that I was sold a "leader" who didn't have a clue how to lead!  Thank goodness Polar was the smart dog that he was or else we would never have had the opportunity to enjoy running the dogs!
