On Saturday night the relay will hold a Luminaria Ceremony.  Relay for Life is an overnight celebration of life dedicated to present and former cancer patients, their families and friends.  Relay for Life raises money for the American Cancer Society while raising awareness that cancer can and will be beaten.  Luminarias that have been purchased through donations will line the track.  At sundown, all luminarias will be lit in memory of or in honor of loved ones and friends who have had cancer.  Each luminaria will have the loved one's/friend's name on it.

You do not need to be present or a participant in the Relay to take part in this ceremony.  But everyone is invited to attend and to light their luminaria candles.  It's the most powerful and moving part of the Relay!  Suggested donation is $10 per luminaria.  Please join us in the fight against cancer!
